The five articles in this segment, by Jamsheed Akrami, have appeared in other publications: the first two appeared in the Ecyclopedia Iranica, under cinema, the third, in Farsi, in the Summer 1996 issue of Iran Nameh, the fourth in "Life and Art, the new Iranian cinema" (National Film Theatre, 1999) and the last in "Film and Politics in the Third World" (Praeger, 1987)
